Moroni, UT (September 10, 2026) – A pregnant woman died Tuesday morning, September 7, after she was struck by a vehicle while walking near Dairy Lane just north of Moroni.
The wreck happened around 7:55 a.m. near 1808 E Dairy Lane, according to the Utah Highway Patrol. The woman was taken to the hospital, where she later died from her injuries.
Doctors performed an emergency delivery after she arrived at the hospital, and her newborn son was placed in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for care. The family later confirmed that the baby also lost his life after receiving treatment.
The Utah Highway Patrol continues to review the circumstances that led to the wreck.
