Bio

Jordan P. Kendell is the managing partner of Cutt, Kendell & Olson. He has represented injury victims his entire legal career. He has recovered millions of dollars for his clients, including multiple eight-figure settlements and seven-figure jury verdicts.

Mr. Kendell’s practice includes all areas of personal injury, with an emphasis on trucking accidents, construction accidents (road, residential, and commercial), Dramshop claims against bars, brain and spinal-cord injuries, and wrongful death. Mr. Kendell has tried cases across the intermountain west and has written and/or argued appeals to the Utah Supreme Court, Utah Court of Appeals, and the Federal Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Mr. Kendell graduated Magna Cum Laude from law school in 2005. Just three years into his legal career, Mr. Kendell began being recognized by his peers for his outstanding work. He was named a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers in 2009, Utah’s Legal Elite “Up & Comers” in 2011 by Utah Business Magazine, and one of “Utah’s Outstanding Young Lawyers” in 2012 by Salt Lake Magazine. He has been recognized as a Super Lawyer since 2014 and has been named in US News’ “Best Lawyers in America” since 2019.

Mr. Kendell matches his aggressive representation with compassion for his clients. One of our clients said it best: “I’ve always thought lawyers to be blood-suckers, but Jordan has proved that wrong.”

When he is not representing clients or teaching trial advocacy skills to young lawyers, Mr. Kendell serves on the Board of Governors for the Utah Association for Justice and spends time with his wife and two boys.
