Woods Cross, UT (September 22, 2026) – One person died, and another was injured in a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 15 near Woods Cross on Saturday, September 19.
According to the Utah Highway Patrol, a silver sedan was traveling north at a high rate of speed when it struck the rear of a semitruck. The truck lost control and then hit three other vehicles.
The sedan driver died in the crash. Emergency personnel took another person to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Northbound I-15 was closed at 2600 South at about 7:33 a.m. while investigators examined the roadway. The interstate reopened shortly before noon.
