Salt Lake City, UT (July 21, 2026) – A man was hurt on Monday night, July 20, in an electric scooter crash involving a vehicle on West 200 North in Salt Lake City. The collision was reported at about 11:21 p.m. near the West Temple Apartments.
According to initial details, the vehicle struck the man while he was riding the electric scooter.
Emergency units went to the roadway and assisted the injured man. Additional personnel were requested because a vehicle was involved.
The rider, believed to be about 25, was described as unconscious but breathing with an apparent mouth injury. Officials have not confirmed whether he was taken to a hospital, whether the driver remained at the site, or the identities of those involved.
