Two-Vehicle Wreck Leaves One Hurt on State St in Pleasant Grove, UT

Pleasant Grove, UT (August 14, 2026) – Emergency crews responded on Wednesday afternoon, August 12, to a two-vehicle rollover collision at the intersection of State St and 1300 W. First responders arrived at the scene around 4:48 p.m. following reports of a crash involving a white pickup truck and a small black passenger car.

Upon arrival, fire and rescue personnel discovered that one of the vehicles had rolled over and landed upside down. Emergency crews located a 20-year-old male trapped inside the overturned passenger car, suffering from head bleeding.

The crash remains under investigation.

Our thoughts are with the injured person as he works toward recovery.

What Legal Options Do Injury Victims Have After a Rollover Collision in Pleasant Grove, UT?

People injured in a rollover crash in Utah can pursue financial compensation through personal injury claims against an at-fault driver's bodily injury liability insurance as well as through their own Personal Injury Protection (PIP) coverage.

Under Utah's no-fault insurance framework, victims first access minimum required PIP coverage for immediate medical expenses but can file a fault-based claim for full damages if their injuries exceed $3,000 in medical bills or result in severe impairment or disfigurement.

Securing complete legal recovery is essential when a rollover accident causes complex head trauma and requires emergency extrication by rescue teams. When a passenger car rolls over, the violent rotational forces routinely cause severe concussions, traumatic brain injuries, cervical spine fractures, deep lacerations, and crushing injuries that require emergency trauma treatment and ongoing rehabilitation.

Filing a civil personal injury claim allows injured victims and their families to seek recovery for out-of-pocket hospital costs, specialized surgical care, lost earning capacity, and physical and emotional pain and suffering.

Obtaining official law enforcement accident reports, examining local traffic camera footage, examining vehicle damage patterns and crash mechanics, and handling direct negotiations with auto insurance adjusters are all ways that an attorney can help. Working with legal counsel verifies that all possible channels for monetary compensation are fully investigated and helps safeguard your rights.
