Park City, UT (August 25, 2026) – Three people were injured in a head-on collision near Kearns Boulevard and Round Valley Drive in Park City on Saturday, August 22. The wreck was reported at about 9:30 p.m.
According to the Utah Highway Patrol, a driver crossed the double lines and entered oncoming traffic before colliding head-on with a Subaru carrying three people.
Troopers later located the other driver and his passenger in a field away from the crash.
The Subaru driver sustained substantial bodily injury. Two passengers in the vehicle sustained minor injuries.
Investigators said the other driver admitted drinking several beers that evening. A preliminary breath test showed a blood-alcohol level of 0.277%, and troopers learned that he had never been issued a driver’s license.
The Utah Highway Patrol continues investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision.
