Washington City, UT (August 24, 2026) – Emergency crews and Washington City Fire Department personnel responded on Saturday morning, August 22, to a construction site fall.
First responders arrived at the WinCo Foods grocery store construction site after reports that a 24-year-old male worker fell approximately 25 feet off a metal roof.
Emergency personnel assessed the worker at the scene, where he remained alert and in stable condition. Gold Cross Ambulance paramedics subsequently transported him to Intermountain Health St. George Regional Hospital for further medical evaluation.
