Ford County, KS (August 4, 2026) – Two people were killed after a 2020 Polaris RZR overturned near 102 Road and U.S. 50 in Ford County on Saturday, August 1. The crash was reported at approximately 4:18 a.m.
Emergency units found the off-road vehicle on the Arkansas River riverbed, about one mile east of 102 Road and one mile south of U.S. 50. Crews freed the driver and passenger after the RZR entered the water and trapped both occupants.
Both men were pronounced dead at approximately 5:05 a.m. Investigators identified the driver as 19-year-old Natividad Ovalle Camacho and the passenger as 26-year-old Julio Perez Pantoja.
The Kansas Highway Patrol continues to investigate the fatal rollover.
